Mission Destiny is an organisation based in Uganda and transforms the lives of vulnerable, under proiviledged, needy children and young adults. Its mission is to support them to become healtjhy, independent and productive members of their community and nation.
Mission Destiny operates in some of the poorest regions of Uganda (Bundibugyo, Rakai, Hoima and Mubende where most families rely on subsistence farming to survive. This is what makes it so difficult for parents to improve family life, let alone send their children to school. This is where Mission Destiny comes in.
Mission Destiny aims to give underprivileged and vulnerable children the chance to realise their full potential by providing education, training and enabling children to become young adults who can support themselves. This involves a long-time investment in a child’s future.
How can you help
Currently, children walk to and from a nearby river to carry water in containers to meet their daily need. The water is dirty, unhygenic and can lead to ilness. Right now, we are raising funds to dig a well to supply running water to Mission Destiny's school for over 600 young people to use. You can partner with us to raise £10,000 to provide this valuable resource for the children and young people at Mission Destiny.
